It’s About Grass

Whether you want to have the best grass on the block, or simply want a groomed yard that provides various forms of enjoyment; you came to the right spot. At Effin’ Turf, our passion (some would call “obsession”) with turfgrass lawns is Effin’ wild.

My Origin Story:

It is a tale as old as time. When I became a new dad and bought my first house, the yard became my calling. The only issue was, I had no idea what I was doing. No worries, right? Just hire a company…right?

So I did!

I hired a nationally known company to take care of my property. Quickly realizing they don’t adequately specialize programs on an individual basis, and after seeing minimal to no progress throughout the growing season, I decided then and there that I’ll learn the secrets to this craft and transform my lawn myself!

What happened next was a bit intense; but countless hours reading university studies, watching youtube videos, engaging on facebook pages, learning the do’s and don’ts of certain chemicals, and putting in the sweat equity in my yard paid off! I built myself a yard to be proud of.
